ImOn Taps New Audience w/ Acquisition Email

CHALLENGE

ImOn Communications is a local provider of  telecommunications services for residents in Eastern Iowa. As they continue to expand service areas and product offerings, they are now providing advanced  broadband services, digital TV, high-speed Internet, and  phone services. As a valued partner and advocate of Claritas services for over 5-years, this is actually the second case study they have done with us. This time, ImOn approached us with the challenge of how to effectively reach new potential customers through targeted email campaigns.

SOLUTION

Claritas advised conducting a quarterly email acquisition campaign. Previously we worked with ImOn to build target groups segmented by similar demographics, media preferences, and technology behaviors. With the added intelligence of the Claritas Identity Graph, we custom-built an audience with the highest propensity for engagement and focused on the top segments identified from the PRIZM® Premier audience segmentation tool.

Claritas then delivered approximately 40K emails/quarter with resulting metrics well above the industry average. In addition, Claritas conducted a match-back report to determine how impactful the campaign was in driving conversions and leads. This was then used to further refine messaging for future campaigns.
