AI Optimization Drives 192% Lift in Conversions

THE CHALLENGE

For more than a decade, VyStar Credit Union has partnered with Claritas to power data-driven marketing initiatives and audience insights.

As an early adopter of new Claritas solutions for more than a decade, VyStar partnered with Claritas in 2025 to test the impact of AI-powered campaign optimization on checking account acquisition.

VyStar wanted to evaluate whether AI-driven optimization could improve digital campaign performance while creating a successful internal use case for broader AI adoption within its organization.

The team needed a scalable way to test multiple creative variations and quickly identify which messaging and design elements drove the strongest engagement and conversions.

SOLUTION

Claritas worked with VyStar to launch a six-month display campaign on their behalf, using:
– Claritas P$YCLE® Premier audiences for precise targeting
– Claritas AI Optimization (AIO) technology
– Multiple creative templates featuring varied headlines, CTAs, and visual treatments

Using three creative templates, Claritas AIO automatically generated and optimized approximately 180 creative combinations in real time. The platform identified a number of optimizations, including creative featuring yellow colors consistently outperformed blue creative in driving action, enabling ongoing optimization throughout the campaign.
